An Ivy League University Medical School wanted to log and analyse attendance data across their campus. IdeaFarm developed a Geo enabled smartphone app and a web based analytics.

The medical school in question holds morning and afternoon lectures, the morning lecture is recorded and broadcast in six locations across the campus.  The same lecture is then broadcast again in the afternoon.

The faculty staff wanted a way to log student attendance at these lectures and compare this to student performance at the end of the school year to see if attendance in the morning or afternoon, or at a live or recorded lecture makes a difference to their grade.

Our Geo enabled smartphone app enables students to mark themselves as present in the lecture hall as long as they are physically present.

The data provided to the staff tells them exactly what time they checked in and also which lecture they were in.
